Customer Reviews

"I'd like to take a moment to commend one of your employees, Casey… Casey was very patient and took me through step by step of what to plug in where… My mother is 89 and lives alone. Your service is vital to her staying in her home with some level of independence.

Casey is an example of a caring, knowledgeable and patient customer service representative. He portrayed your company in a very positive manner. I hope you are proud to employ (and reward) such a wonderful person."

Sincerely,
Jeannine L.

Does my emergency button cover me when I am traveling?

by Jeff Miller

in Emergency Button,Personal Alarm Systems

A lot of people ask us if our emergency button will cover them while they are traveling outside of their home. While our personal alarm systems are portable and can be moved and used in any state throughout the U.S., they are designed for your home use and are not meant to be used when you are out driving, getting groceries, or on a long walk. Whenever you need to change locations, all you have to do is bring that equipment with you. When you plug it in at the new house, you’ll give us a call and we will get everything working at that new location. Your emergency button will cover you throughout your home and in the yard or garden at the location we have you set up for.

We do not offer mobile GPS devices. We have called a number of 911 agencies throughout the country, only to discover that most of them will not respond to a GPS signal alone. You would have to be able to speak to the 911 dispatcher to let them know exactly where you are. We find that most seniors simply need a way to get help when they are in their home alone with no one to help them get up during a fall or get the paramedics during an emergency. If there is an emergency while you are outside at the grocery store, a good Samaritan should be there to help you with whatever you need!
