"I'd like to take a moment to commend one of your employees, Casey… Casey was very patient and took me through step by step of what to plug in where… My mother is 89 and lives alone. Your service is vital to her staying in her home with some level of independence.

Casey is an example of a caring, knowledgeable and patient customer service representative. He portrayed your company in a very positive manner. I hope you are proud to employ (and reward) such a wonderful person."

Sincerely,
Jeannine L.

Introducing mom to medical alarm systems…

by Jeff Miller

in Medical Alarm Systems,Medical Alert

I’m sure your mom has already seen medical alarm systems on her TV and maybe in some ads in magazines as well. So she probably has a lot of thoughts and opinions about these systems already. That’s why we always recommend talking to mom about having a medical alert in her home, rather than just springing this on her. If you just bring one over to her home (or worse yet, have one delivered) without talking to her, she is much less likely to be receptive to the idea. It’s important to talk to mom about how medical alarm systems can help to improve her health for the long term. It’s amazing the difference that getting help quickly can mean. Seniors who are able to get help immediately are far less likely to develop ongoing medical issues from these falls or emergencies. So order one of our brochures, and sit down with mom. It’s important for her to understand that having a medical alert really is about keeping her independence for many years. Not about taking her independence away! Both of you want her to stay in the home she loves for many years, and this is a great way to do that for her…
