Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their medical alert service tell them that you want to think about it.
Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.
Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:
- It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
- You don't have to check with your mom seniors never want a medical alarm system, just give me your credit card.
- Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.
Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.
