Every Senior Safety customer gets a free gift offer with purchase of their medical alert. At that time you have the opportunity to choose between a second medical pendant or a realtor’s lock box. Most people pick the latter because if an emergency arises, if you have a lock box we will give the combination to the paramedics so they won’t have to force entry into your home.
Every once in a while we get a call from someone who tells us the lock box doesn’t quite fit securely on their doorknob. If this happens to you but you are still committed to having a lock box, we recommend going to your local hardwood store and simply replacing your doorknob with one that will fit the lock box. If you don’t want to change the door knob on your front door, you also have the option of changing it on the back door instead. As long as you notify us where the lock box is, the paramedics will be able to use it to gain access.
