"I'd like to take a moment to commend one of your employees, Casey… Casey was very patient and took me through step by step of what to plug in where… My mother is 89 and lives alone. Your service is vital to her staying in her home with some level of independence.

Casey is an example of a caring, knowledgeable and patient customer service representative. He portrayed your company in a very positive manner. I hope you are proud to employ (and reward) such a wonderful person."

Sincerely,
Jeannine L.

When you press your medical panic button on accident…

by Jeff Miller

in Emergency Alert Button,Medical Panic Button

Some of our new customers worry about pressing their medical panic button and not realizing it. Its important for everyone to understand that false alarms are not something to be afraid or worried about. Of course, in order to activate your speakerbox and send a signal to our monitoring center that you need help you will need to press your emergency alert button. You may bump the medical panic button accidentally someday. Immediately after doing that you will hear a loud long tone out of your speakerbox… that is the sound of your medical alert starting to connect you to our monitoring center. Shortly an operator will speak to you over the speakerbox and you can just tell them that you are not having an emergency. It’s as simple as that. If you press your emergency alert button and don’t hear the speakerbox – don’t worry. Our monitoring center will be calling your home number. When you pick that up just let the operator know that it is a false alarm. These false alarms are rare, and you may not ever have one. But it’s great to be prepared and knowledgeable about your medical panic button just in case you ever do!
