Customer Reviews

"I'd like to take a moment to commend one of your employees, Casey… Casey was very patient and took me through step by step of what to plug in where… My mother is 89 and lives alone. Your service is vital to her staying in her home with some level of independence.

Casey is an example of a caring, knowledgeable and patient customer service representative. He portrayed your company in a very positive manner. I hope you are proud to employ (and reward) such a wonderful person."

Sincerely,
Jeannine L.

Where should my personal medical alarm plug in?

by Jeff Miller

in Medical Alarm,Personal Medical Alarm

The placement of your medical alarm is very important since it directly effects the range that our speaker will cover within your home. We always recommend plugging your personal medical alarm in a central location in the home. We know every home is different – but generally if you find a fairly central phone jack and electrical outlet to plug into, the speaker will cover your entire home. Now you can test that range when you get your medical alarm set up. In the middle of testing the system, you’ll just tell the operator that you’d like to do the Walk Around Test. This test will allow you to walk from room to room and make sure that the operator can communicate with you throughout the whole house. If you are unable to hear the operator in the front bedroom but can hear them fine in the back of the house, consider moving your personal medical alarm to a different spot closer to the front. By doing the Walk Around Test from a couple different locations you’ll be able to know where that medical alarm should go. We’d be happy to help you out over the phone with any of this. So definitely give us a call when your system arrives!
