I always tell our Seniors how important it is to test out their emergency button at least once a month. The other day I had a senior ask me if the call center tests the emergency button weekly/monthly to ensure the system is working.
Our monitoring center does a weekly test on their end. However, that test can only tell us so much. We recommend that our customers (or their family) test the emergency button monthly to ensure that it’s working properly in the case of an emergency. This also helps to make our customers comfortable with pushing their emergency help button and using the equipment. Senior Safety will take care of our end, but we rely on you to take care of yours, too. Please make sure you are testing your emergency button at least once month. Help us help you!
