Jeff's best test for all senior alarm representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their alarm for seniors tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom seniors never want an alarm for seniors, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Medical Alert Issues

Where should I plug my alarm for seniors in?

Open

We always recommend plugging in your alarm for seniors somewhere centrally located within your home. That way your alarm monitors speaker will be able to sound throughout the entire house or apartment. You will need a wall phone jack and an electrical outlet nearby. Find the most central jack and outlet and plug in your alarm for seniors there. We usually ask our customers not to plug the alarm directly in the kitchen or in a bathroom. These are two of the noisiest rooms in the house! Once your senior alarm is plugged in, go ahead and run a quick test. Ask the operator to do a walk around test with you - this way you can test the sound throughout your whole home. Once you're done with that you are all set up and ready to go! [Read More...]

A medical alarm will help grow mom's confidence

Open

As seniors grow older, they tend to become more and more cautious in their home. This shows a healthy awareness of the limitations of their age. It is interesting though to see the changes that occur when you install a reliable medical alarm in mom's home. While caution is healthy, living in worry or fear is not! An alarm for seniors in mom's home will let her take on some chores that she wouldn't have otherwise. It's about living comfortably, and aging without becoming increasingly worried about what could happen if she were to fall when no one was around. It's retirement as it should be! Not only does a medical alarm alleviate anxieties about falling or having an emergency, living in a relaxed way helps mom's confidence grow. I think you'll notice a big difference in mom when she is able to live her golden years worry-free. All because you helped choose the right alarm for seniors for her home…

Lake County Health Department creates a Falls Prevention Task Force with hospitals, senior centers and fire departments

Open
Using an alarm for seniors is one of the best ways you can be sure to keep your elderly loved ones safe when they are living alone.  But preventing senior falls before they happen so an elder alert isn't needed is the hope for many communities such as Lake County in Illinois.

The Lake County Health Department created a Falls Prevention Task Force with hospitals, senior centers and fire departments.   The health department is handing out prevention and awareness materials and is sponsoring balance classes, which improve lower-body strength in seniors.

These community programs are essential for awareness of senior fall prevention.  Together with an alarm for seniors, you can be sure your loved ones are as safe as possible! [Read More...]

My parents live in rural Idaho. Does your alarm for seniors cost more there?

Open
My parents live in a rural part of Idaho. There isn't much nearby their home. Other alarms for seniors cost more there. How much does yours cost at an 83333 zip code?

Rachel M.
Idaho Falls, ID

Hi Rachel, Our service costs $24.95 nationwide. We have lots of customers who live in a rural area. We prefer for our medical alarms for seniors and our service to be simple, and we try not to get too complicated with different prices. We'd love to hear from you or your parents if you have anymore questions!

I hope this helps,

My alarm for seniors lights are off

Open

On your alarm for seniors there are two lights: a red light and a green light. When your alarm is plugged in to the electricity both of these lights will be illuminated. When you press your help button to activate one of our medical alerts, the machine's red light will flash indicating that it is connecting with our monitoring center. If you ever notice that the lights on your alarm for seniors are turned off, go ahead and call us at our customer service office. We would be able to look into that for you and make sure that the system is working for you. In most cases where the light is off, our medical alerts have lost power, and this may be as simple as making sure the system is plugged in! Whenever you have questions about your alarm, go ahead and give us a call! That's what we are here for after all…
