An Elderly Alarm that is Affordable & Reliable

Elderly Alarm Systems must help our elderly family members feel secure, safe, and confident living at home alone and independent. No doubt an elderly alarm must be reliable and affordable. What makes ours the best elderly alarm is the quality of our elderly monitoring service along with our caring customer service representatives.

When you or your elderly loved one has fallen and finds them self in an awkward or dangerous situation in the home, be it EMS, fire or a police emergency, having quality elderly alarm in place along with the waterproof button they wear in the shower and the tub will give everyone greater "Peace of Mind".

Having one of our "Rock Solid" elderly alarms gives you and your loved ones the ability to send that important alert that help is needed to both the paramedics and to the family. Time is of the essence during all emergencies. Our monitoring center will know mom or dad is in trouble within 20–30 seconds, in most cases, and dispatch whatever help they need. We stay on the line to talk to them until help arrives at the home when necessary.

Jeff's best test for all elderly alarm representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their elderly alarm system tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom elderly people never want an alarm, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Medical Alert Issues

Does an Elderly Alarm call the Paramedics directly?

Open
Some seniors don’t understand how an Elderly Alarm actually calls the paramedics.  Do elderly monitoring devices call the paramedics directly?

During an emergency, the senior presses the button on their elderly alarm.  The transmitter sends a signal to the speaker box which then calls a monitoring center.  Once notified, the monitoring center will begin to talk with the senior over the console that is part of the elderly alarm.

At that point, they can tell the operator what the problem is and paramedics and/or family members can be notified. Of course if they cannot speak or hear, the paramedics will just be dispatched as a safety precaution.  That is a basic summary of how the whole emergency process works with elderly monitoring devices. You should be prepared to use your elderly alarm in the case of an emergency

Open
Just in case an emergency arises, you should be prepared to press the button on your elderly alarm. You may suddenly just feel faint or feel dizzy. Unfortunately people are reluctant to press their alert buttons for seniors out of fear they will "bother" us, or they aren't sure that they need an ambulance. These are never reasons to not use your elderly alarm system. If you feel faint, or unstable do not hesitate to press your alert button, it could save your life. Trust your instincts. We would rather answer a false alarm than miss what could have been a true emergency. We're here to get you help whenever you need it! [Read More...]

Getting police help using our elderly alarm!

Open

While most people use our elderly alarm to get help during a medical emergency, we are a full certified alarm company and we can dispatch police or fire crews for you as well… Let's say you are at home alone and you think you hear someone in your house. You'd just press our personal security alarms button. When the elderly alarm operator talks to you over the speaker, you will just tell them what is going on. If you need, we'd be glad to dispatch the authorities your way. If it's not an emergency but you are concerned, we could call one of your neighbors or a family member who lives nearby. Whenever you use our personal security alarms, we are more than glad to get you whatever type of help you need!

What to do if you medical emergency necklace gives you a rash...

Open

Everyone is different. While it is certainly not common for our customers to get rashes from the our elderly alarm necklace, it has happened before. In this rare situation there are lots of options. Of course, keep in mind that our medical emergency necklace comes on a plastic beaded chain for a reason. This is a break-away chain, and its designed to break if it got caught on something during a fall rather than being a choking hazard. If that chain bothers you though, you are able to replace it with any chain you have in your house (or any necklace you can find at the store). While we think that the break-away chain is pretty neat, we prefer for you to be comfortable with your medical emergency necklace because we want you to wear it at all times just in case you need help from your elderly alarm. So if you need to, find a chain that works for you!

Your elderly alarm and your home phone service

Open

We get a lot of questions here about whether our elderly alarm is compatible with different types of phone services. Whether you have a standard land line, a cable package or a DSL package, the answer is yes - our system will work! Our elderly alarm even works with most VOIP services. If you have a Voice Over IP phone service call us to verify that we cover the type that you have. The big thing to know with VOIP is that if your computer is off generally you will not be able to use your medical pendants to get help. In order for your VOIP phone to work, your computer needs to be on. If you have a question about our medical pendants and your phone service just give us a call. We'd be happy to answer them for you!
