It's important to realize that a single press of your elderly call button will get help regardless of whether you are able to speak back and forth with an operator. The voice to voice connection over your senior citizen alert is secondary to getting help. As long as we get a signal from your elderly call button being pressed we will dispatch help to your location. A lot of seniors live in a home that has a basement as well. Now depending on the build of the home, you may be able to speak back and forth with an operator in the basement over the senior citizen alert speaker box. So if you have a fall, press that button, and are unable to speak to the operator - know that help is on the way!
