An Emergency Response System will act as your best signal to first responders and your family when used with a quality home emergency response monitoring service. These emergency response systems are known to provide "Peace of Mind" for seniors that live alone in their home or live with family.

Having a button to push when an elderly person can't reach the phone is crucial. Often seniors will find themselves in an awkward or dangerous spot. This could be a medical situation, or a fire or police emergency… Your Emergency Response System will act as your alert that a senior may be having an emergency because they may have fallen. Maybe they were working in the back shed, their home's cellar or garage, or maybe they were walking in the front yard when they fell… the best emergency response system will get them help when they can't reach the phone to dial 911 for help.

Jeff's best test for all emergency response representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their emergency response system tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom seniors never want an emergency response system, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

Medical Alert Issues

Our emergency response system is so effective a service dog can use it!

Open

This year we were contacted by a customer whose service dog was training to use our emergency response system. Now that is one smart dog! Whenever the service dog detects that his owner is having an emergency he runs to where the speaker box is, hops up on his hind legs, and pushes the emergency button on the emergency response system.

Even without a trained service dog, you will be able to get help now whenever you need with our system. All you have to do is press the help button that you are wearing, and your emergency response system will connect you to one of our operators! No Lassie required :)

Setting up mom's emergency response system...

Open

Our emergency response system is easy to set up. When your mom's system arrives in the mail you will simply open the box and follow the instructions to plug in her speaker box. That speaker box plugs directly into her phone jack and into an electrical outlet. If she had a phone in that wall phone jack previously the phone needs to plug into the extra jack on the back of our emergency response system speaker. Once everything is plugged in press mom's medical alert buttons to test the machine. If you hooked everything up properly you will be connected with an operator with around 20 to 30 seconds, and you can just tell him that you are just testing the machine. Setting up the emergency response system is really straightforward, and most seniors can even do it themselves. But if you press the medical alert buttons after setting it up and don't get an operator, give us a call. We'd be happy to walk you through the plug in process over the phone and make sure everything is working!

Test your Emergency Response System

Open
An emergency response system can help protect your parents if they should suffer a fall or another emergency at home.

One especially important thing to teach your parents is to test their emergency response system regularly. It is important for them to get comfortable with the process of testing.  You can test as often as you'd like.  We recommend at least once a month.

Help your parents stay living independently in their own home for as long as they can with their beloved memories. [Read More...]

Personal Medical Alarm Bypasses 911 Distractions

Open
Ever since the 9-1-1 emergency response system was established, millions of lives have been saved. There have been many inspiring stories of how 9-1-1 operators have come to the rescue time and time again in all kinds of emergencies. The 9-1-1 system is so easy to use that children as young as 4 years old have made the call to help out a fallen parent. Unfortunately, for as many inspiring stories of rescue there have also been just as many stories of 9-1-1 abuse. You can avoid being caught up in a 9-1-1 busy signal by having your own personal medical alarm.

How bad is 9-1-1 abuse? Recently a woman in Florida was arrested after calling 9-1-1 four separate times. Her “emergency?” She was quarrelling with a manicurist over a bad nail job. There have also been incidents when disgruntled drivers call to complain about their fast food order. In one case, an obviously drunken man called 9-1-1 to ask for a ride to the liquor store. At least he had enough sense not to drive himself!

For the most part, 9-1-1 offers a quick response, but if you want to be assured of a more direct answer to your personal emergency then you should consider using some of the many medical alarm devices available to you. With your own personal panic button you’ll be able to alert an independent response center that will instantly take your call. They’ll also have your personal medical and contact information readily available. Think of medical alert systems as your own private 9-1-1! [Read More...]

How can your emergency response system for elderly seniors help if I can't talk?

Open
I have extremely bad asthma. When I get attacks, I choke and cannot breathe. I likely cannot talk to ask for help when this occurs. It comes on me all at once and there's little I can do. How can your emergency response system for elderly help me if I cannot talk?

David
Glendale, AZ

Hi David,

Our personal emergency response systems for the elderly will protect you, whether you can speak or not. If you are having an emergency, simply press the help button and one of our trained operators will talk to you on the speaker box. If you can't speak, they will assume you are having an emergency and help will be dispatched immediately.

I hope this helps,
