What makes ours the best fall alert is the high quality of our monitoring service along with our caring customer service representatives.

Do You Offer Fall Detection with Your Fall Alert?

A few companies now offer fall detection. This new feature is designed to automatically activate the fall alert when a senior falls. Someday this feature will be a neat step towards protecting and empowering seniors… but the technology is not far enough along for us to offer currently with our medical alert service. These detection devices lead to false alarms during day to day activities. [Read More…]

Jeff's best test for all fall alert representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their fall alert system tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom or dad seniors never want a fall alert, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Medical Alert Issues

Arizona Seniors and Medical Alert Buttons

Open
Yesterday I spoke with a woman who was calling to ask about medical alert buttons for her grandmother who lives outside Phoenix in Arizona. Arizona has one of the largest populations of seniors in the country, a population which is constantly growing each day.

The woman stressed the need of her grandmother for independence and that she wanted to remain in her own home as long as possible, especially since she is still relatively healthy and active.  This is why a fall alert is the perfect choice for her.

All she has to do is press the button on the fall alert if she ever was in trouble and help would be on the way.  It's great piece of mind for the senior and for the family.

As the senior population in Arizona and across the country grows each day, medical alert buttons help keep seniors living at home, independently and safe. [Read More...]

Senior Center Health Fair in Connecticut offers Blood Pressure Screenings which is a great idea if you have an Alert Button

Open
If you are a senior living alone at home with an alert button it's important to get your health checked often. That's why we love to hear about different communities doing their part to help seniors. A Senior Health center in Montville, Connecticut recently held their annual health fair which brought seniors together to get important health information and blood pressure screenings.

Taking care of your health, checking your blood pressure consistently and using a fall alert are all important steps for a senior to remain healthy and safe. [Read More...]

What is an important question to ask regarding monitoring centers for Alarm Monitors?

Open
When people call to ask about our alarm monitors I'm often asked, “Are you a privately owned or contracted monitoring center?”  Now is this of any importance to the client who is using a fall alert? Not really!  What is an important question to ask is, “Do you have a second redundantly backed up monitoring center in a different location should a natural disaster occur?”

There are a few good proprietary monitoring centers and many more excellent contracted monitoring centers. It’s possible for either situation, owned or contracted monitoring center to be poorly run.

The better discussion here would be what makes a great medical monitoring center?  Make sure they have comprehensive customer service, quality control systems, recording of all calls, comprehensive training programs and certification for all operators.

Plugging in these emergency alert systems is easy!

Open

Most seniors are able to plug in their emergency alert systems by themselves. These devices just need to plug into a phone jack in your wall and an electrical outlet. Then you can even test their fall alert to make sure they plugged it in right. The most common problem we experience is when a senior needs to move some furniture in order to reach the phone jack or outlet. If that is the case, it may help to for your children or a neighbor to visit and help plug in your emergency alert systems. If you have any questions about how the fall alert plugs in, we are always available by phone to help you out with that easy process! So give us a call! We'd be happy to help…
