Jeff's best test for all medical alarm systems representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their medical alarm systems tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your parents seniors never want a medical alarm systems, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Medical Alert Issues

Medical Alarm: Fashion Alert!

Open

My close friend is in her thirties and having a senior medical alert device has predictably never crossed her mind. But unlike most women in their 30's, she suffers from multiple sclerosis. As her body deteriorates, she finds herself more and more afraid that she is unable to rely on herself. Even though she thinks she would be able to help herself in an emergency, she feels better safe than sorry.

My friend admitted to a little embarrassment for ordering a product aimed at seniors, but I re-assured her that personal medical alarms can be for anyone. She chose the necklace medical pendant and wears it everyday. I chuckled when she told me the necklace's neutral tones match with everything. Hey, there's no reason you can't have a medical alarm system and stay fashionable, too!

Medical alarm systems help with a New York heat wave

Open

Most of the country has been experiencing a major heatwave. While you may not associate the overbearing heat with medical alarm systems, these devices can be lifesavers in all dangerous situations. While the Midwest has been hit the hardest, the East Coast will be next. We want our New York customers and other customers on the East Coast to stay cool. Triple-digit heat can be dangerous for anyone who stays in the sun long enough (especially for children and seniors) and houses or apartments without air-conditioning can get hot quickly. Take care of yourself, keep cool, and if you need help press your help button. That's what it is there for after all!

Personal Medical Alarm 101

Open
According to recent surveys, there are upwards of several million medical alert systems being used all across the country by seniors who appreciate the benefits of having a personal medical alarm in their own home. There are two pieces of equipment that come standard with personal medical alarm systems.

First, you’ll have a personal panic button that you can carry with your throughout the home. This will be in the form of a small pendant or wristband. It has a button that you push in the case of any emergency. The second piece of equipment is a small monitoring device that is plugged into an outlet and into your home phone line. Think of this as a kind of “answering machine.”

When you push the panic button, the monitoring device makes a call to the response center. A well trained operation can then actually speak to you through the monitoring device wherever you might be in your home. This is crucial if you’ve taken a fall and can’t get to the phone. Even if you can’t respond, once that panic button has been pushed, the operator knows to immediately send help your way.

The monitoring response is a fee based service which you can pay each month or in annual increments. Once installed, you’ll become so accustomed to your personal medical alarm that you won’t even know it’s there until you need it! [Read More...]
