Medical Alerts (aka medic alerts by many people) and a good monitoring service, especially for elderly people who live by themselves, can be life-saving. Even when a senior lives in a home with family, the best medical alerts provide "Peace of Mind" for everyone involved.
Senior citizens sometimes find themselves in dangerous situations… this could an medical, fire or a police emergency. Having a medical alert button to press when they can't make it to the phone to dial for help is crucial!
Medical Alerts will be your alert that your loved one needs help because they need help or they fell. They may have fallen at the mailbox, while taking out the trash, or while they were working in their backyard, or anywhere in the home… good medical alerts helps them get the help that they need when they need it the most.
Seniors love us because we care…
Even though the term "medic alerts" is often used for "medical alerts," medic alerts actually are id bracelets containing important information for EMS personnel. Both medic alerts and medical alerts can save your life in the case of an emergency and are a smart idea for seniors living alone. * MedicAlert ® is an excellent company that provides these medic alerts as bracelets.
Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their medical alerts tell them that you want to think about it.
Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.
Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:
Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.
Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision
Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.
Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'
We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.
Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.
We Care!

Medical alerts have been around since the early 80's (That's more than 30 years now!)… We've seen these devices change from just a button that you press to get EMS response to a whole home alert system that allows you to speak to an operator whenever you have an emergency. The newest feature is something called fall detection, and it works just how it sounds: based on the movement of the pendant or wristband it can sense a falling motion and send a signal. We are excited about its potential, but the technology is not far along enough for us to offer - it tends to lead to lots of false alarms from everyday movements (like bending over or even lying down). We find that seniors do best with a simple and reliable system! And we certainly don't want our customers to be bothered by all these false alarms. :)
[Read More...]A common question that we get when people are looking into medical alerts for their parents is: Do we charge per time they press their help button? Pressing the button to test or use our medical monitoring systems does not cost anything additional. The monthly rate you are paying covers everything. In fact there are no additional costs with our medical alerts - no set up fees, no activation fees, no equipment fees, no cancellation fees, and certainly no fees per time you press that button. We want your parents to feel free testing their system as often as they'd like and using their system as often as they need!
[Read More...]On your alarm for seniors there are two lights: a red light and a green light. When your alarm is plugged in to the electricity both of these lights will be illuminated. When you press your help button to activate one of our medical alerts, the machine's red light will flash indicating that it is connecting with our monitoring center. If you ever notice that the lights on your alarm for seniors are turned off, go ahead and call us at our customer service office. We would be able to look into that for you and make sure that the system is working for you. In most cases where the light is off, our medical alerts have lost power, and this may be as simple as making sure the system is plugged in! Whenever you have questions about your alarm, go ahead and give us a call! That's what we are here for after all…
