A Medical Panic Button that is Reliable & Affordable

A medical panic button must help your elderly family members feel secure to remain living at home alone and independently. No doubt these systems must be reliable and affordable. What makes Senior Safety the best medical panic button is the high quality of our senior monitoring service along with our caring customer service representatives.

When you or your elderly loved one has fallen and finds them self in an awkward or dangerous situation in the home, be it an EMS emergency, fire situation or a police response, having an quality system in place along with the waterproof panic button they wear in the shower and the tub will give everyone greater "Peace of Mind".

Having our "Rock Solid" buttons gives you and your loved ones the ability to send that important signal that help is needed to both the paramedics and to the family. Time is of the essence during all emergencies. Senior Safety's monitoring center will know mom or dad is in trouble within 20–30 seconds, in most cases, and dispatch whatever help they need. We stay on the line to talk to them until help arrives at the home when necessary.

Jeff's best test for all panic button representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their system tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom seniors never want an alarm system, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Medical Alert Issues

Do I need an appointment for your medical response systems to be installed?

Open

When you order medical response systems from us, you don't need to set up an installation appointment. In order to avoid costly set up fees and make it so that you don't have to schedule any appointments or wait for the technician to arrive, we just ship out your system and medical panic button directly to you. Our medical response systems are easy to set up. You literally just need to plug it in to a phone jack and an electrical outlet. Since most seniors can do this installation themselves without any trouble, we don't send out technicians. You can set it up at your convenience and then press that medical panic button to test it. As long as you can speak to an operator over the medical response systems speaker, it is set up right and working!

New Year's resolutions, medical emergency alerts, and your safety

Open

Happy New Year! We hope you get the chance to ring in 2012 with your family and good friends. Here are a few things that you should work into your New Year's resolutions in regards to our medical emergency alerts and your mom or dad's safety: 1. Test regularly! We recommend that all of our customer's test their systems once a month to make sure that everything is working. All you have to do is press your medical panic button and speak with the operator. 2. Keep tabs on your mom's situation and how she is doing. Sometimes seniors can progress quickly to a point where they need more than one of these medical emergency alerts. If your mom keeps forgetting to wear her medical panic button or sometimes forgets what it is for it may be time for extra care. We hope your 2012 is a great year. Don't forget to make mom's safety a big priority this year!

How do I remember to test my Medical Panic Button?

Open
I talk to seniors every day who are concerned about how they can remember to test their medical panic button.  Testing your senior citizen alert is essential to ensuring you are protected and that your speaker box and pendant are working.  It also allows you to get comfortable using the medical panic button so you are ready to use it for real should their be a true emergency.

I always recommend seniors test at least once a month.   A good way to remember is to have a calender and mark the day you are going to test and/or testing on the day you were born. [Read More...]

We offer emergency alert devices with no sales pressure!

Open

Let's be honest, when you call a company asking about their emergency alert devices you are looking information and not wanting to bother with someone trying to aggressively sell you on their product. There is a strong sales culture in the medical panic button industry because companies have their employees work on commission, and this leads to a lot of uncomfortable phone calls. Ultimately, we get lots of business without hiring traditional salespeople. When you call us, we are happy to provide all the information about our system and service. We are proud that your call is answered by someone who cares about helping you find the right emergency alert devices for your situation and not someone just shooting for a sale. We won't pester you with phone calls after you talk to us for the first time, so you will have to call us back if you have more questions about our medical panic button or would like to order the service…

Personal Security Alarms and your phone provider

Open
Personal Security Alarms come with a medical panic button and a console with a speaker box.   The console needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet as well as a phone jack.   It connects to your land line, VOIP line or cable bundle package so the monitoring center can have an operator communicate with the senior via the speaker box.  Be sure to tell the medical panic button company who your phone provider is and what kind of phone connection it is. Then they can make sure you have the appropriate equipment.

It is so important to be familiar with the phone company that you use. Almost all phone companies will be compatible with a medical panic button.  However, depending on which phone company you do have, the company will send you a system compatible for that specific company. For example, people who use a cable bundle package receive a different console than those who have a standard land line.

If you already have a compatible land line, but have to move or change your phone company, do your homework. Make sure you check with the  medical panic button company you chose before signing up with a new phone company. If the new phone company is not compatible, do not use their service. [Read More...]
