Personal Medical Alarm Systems and a good alarm monitoring service for seniors who live at home alone, or even with family, provide "Peace of Mind" for all.

Sometimes a senior finds them self in a dangerous or possibly awkward situation. This could be a EMS emergency, fire, or even an intruder in the home. Having a personal medical alarm when you or your loved one can't reach the phone is crucial.

These systems often act as the first signal that a senior needs a EMS response because they fell or need help. They could have gone to the mailbox, take out the garbage, work in their yard, their basement or anywhere else in the home… a good service will get help for them in emergencies, when they can't reach the phone to dial 911 for help.

Jeff's best test for all alert representatives you call

Here is a simple and smart test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their personal medical alarm and how it works tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your parents seniors never want one of these personal medical alarm, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

Medical Alert Issues

Where should we put the Personal Medical Alarm?

Open
I just purchased your personal medical alarm for my mother. She has a very soft voice and has hearing difficulties. Where is the best place to put the speaker box in the home?

Laura
Seattle, WA

Our medical alarm covers approximately 3000 square feet inside a home. It has a high sensitive microphone and extra loud speaker box designed to work with anyone who has a soft voice or hearing loss. The best recommendation would be to place the unit in a central location inside the home. Once your receive the unit you can do a distance test with our operator where you can walk into each room of the home and make sure you can hear and be heard.

I hope this helps,

Why do the lights on my Personal Medical Alarm blink once a week?

Open
I spoke earlier with a customer who noticed the lights on her personal medical alarm blink about once a week. She was concerned something was wrong with her device until I explained that when the lights are blinking once a week, the personal medical alarm is connecting to our monitoring center and doing an automatic self test to ensure the unit is plugged in and operational.

It's just one of the ways we ensure all of our customers are always protected and safe. [Read More...]

A hot Texas summer is a good reminder to get a Personal Medical Alarm

Open
Recently I spoke to a woman in Dallas, Texas who was interested in a Personal Medical Alarm for her father. She was concerned because summer is around the corner and he lives in an area that can get unbearably hot. Even though he has air conditioning sometimes it breaks or he goes outside when he shouldn't and the heat can be dangerous.

Panic Buttons for the Elderly are great ideas to get for your elderly loved ones before the summer season begins.  Hotter temperatures in the summer put seniors in even more risk for accidents in and around the home.  A personal medical alarm is the best way to know your loved one is safe, even in the hot summer months in Texas! Reviews of personal emergency response systems help seniors find the best company

Open
If you are looking around for a personal medical alarm, take your time and read reviews of these systems. There are a whole lot of companies out of there, and a handful of good ones. Reading reviews of these personal emergency response systems will help you learn from the experiences of others. You do not want to get trapped in a contract with a company that you do not want to be with. Requesting a brochure and getting a thorough understanding of a company before ordering really is key. As much as I'd love for everyone to sign up with Senior Safety, what's most important is that you find the right personal medical alarm company for you. [Read More...]

Customer Reviews

"I'd like to take a moment to commend one of your employees, Casey… Casey was very patient and took me through step by step of what to plug in where… My mother is 89 and lives alone. Your service is vital to her staying in her home with some level of independence.

Casey is an example of a caring, knowledgeable and patient customer service representative. He portrayed your company in a very positive manner. I hope you are proud to employ (and reward) such a wonderful person."

Sincerely,
Jeannine L.
