Jeff's best test for all home monitoring representatives you call

Here is a simple test when you talk to their representatives. When it comes time that they ask you for the order after telling you about their senior home monitoring system tell them that you want to think about it.

Now listen for the fun or aggravation to start, the pushy sales types will keep asking for your credit card or bank account information… over and over again.

Then simply ask for a brochure. You will find them giving you a hard time by saying things like:

  1. It will take a week or two to receive the brochure, why don't you order now.
  2. You don't have to check with your mom seniors never want a senior home monitoring service, just give me your credit card.
  3. Whatever you do, don't give them your phone number. Watch, the next day they will call you by capturing your caller ID, and they will be far more aggressive about you ordering now and giving them your credit card or your bank account details again.

Just learn to say NO and sit back and watch the fun.

Take the Time to Make an Informed Decision

Call everyone and order their brochure… you will quickly detect with your "gut meter" who is good and who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Be careful not to sign any long term contracts… they are impossible to get out of.
I'm just sayin'

We have no long term agreements, you can cancel at any time and we give you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes we are available in every single town in the United States, even if your home is in a rural area.

We Care!

Monitoring Seniors is just one way to help prevent falls

Open
Monitoring seniors with senior home monitoring is just one way to help prevent falls inside and around the home.

There are many steps you can take to help prevent your elderly parents from falling. Regular exercise is critical to increase strength and mobility. Exercise is one of the most important steps you can take to actually reduce falls.

Decreasing fall risks in the home like removing small rugs, using non-slip mats in the bathtub, improving lighting and removing any items someone may trip over can help prevent falls. You may also want to install grab bars next to the toilet and the bathtub.

You want to be careful with your loved ones medication to ensure side effects won’t help cause a fall. It’s important to check drugs that have side effects that can cause drowsiness. These can increase risks of falls inside the home.

Checking your loved ones vision regularly is also critical. Loss of vision can greatly increase the risks of falls.

And finally, purchasing senior home monitoring for the home can be a final safety measure that can save their life. If your elderly parents fall inside the home, all they would need to do is press a button and help would be on the way. Monitoring seniors is what every senior needs. [Read More...]

My dad doesn't want to get a medical alert necklace for my mom

Open

Sometimes we talk to families who are having a hard time deciding whether to get a medical alert necklace for their mom. Maybe she needs help sometimes but your dad doesn't want a system because he can take care of her himself. Or mom may live with you and you are usually home to help out. No matter the situation, senior home monitoring can really help your mom and family. Having a medical alert necklace will allow you to go grab groceries, run errands, and even go out and have fun without worrying that mom might fall and not be able get help.

Senior home monitoring can even help if you are in the house when an emergency happens. We have heard of stories where family members are home and an elderly loved one falls in a separate part of the house. Unfortunately, sometimes it could be hours before anyone knows that they even need help. I always think it is better to be safe than sorry. A medical alert necklace can improve your life even if it is there just in case.

How easy is it to press the Alarm System Monitor accidentally?

Open
I talked to a customer in Montana the other day who was worried about pressing her alarm system monitor accidentally.

This seems to be the number one fear when it comes to new or potential customers of senior home monitoring.  In reality, it is not so easy to press the alarm system monitor button by accident.  You have to actually press the button with some pressure through your fingers.  Simply rolling over it will not cause a first alert response.

So don't worry about pressing your senior home monitoring accidentally.  It's not likely to happen that easy! [Read More...]
