If the senior monitoring device goes to backup power we would get a signal in our senior monitoring center and contact the user to make sure it is plugged in and tested. Can I wear my emergency call button to the grocery store?

A lot of seniors ask if they can wear their emergency call button while they are out shopping for groceries or running other errands. Our medical alert systems are designed for your home use and for outside in your yard. While you will not be able to use your emergency button while you are away from your home, there will be other people around (unlike in your home) to help you if you have a fall or other emergency. If it is easier for you to wear your emergency call button while you are out so you don't have to remember to put it back on when you come back home, that is fine. Just know that the emergency button will not work when you are out and about!
