When you order our system you get your choice between the medical alert necklace and the wristband. Now, most of our customers already have a preference and would be more comfortable wearing one or the other with their medical alert system. If you don't have a preference here are a few things to think about: Do you wear necklaces or a watch already? Perhaps you are already comfortable wearing something around you neck. You might choose the medical alert necklace then. Or maybe you feel like the necklace button would get in the way of the other necklaces you wear. The wristband may be for you. Ultimately it is your choice! Whatever you are more comfortable wearing everyday is the best choice for your medical alert.

It's pretty fun to try to sum up our company in only a few words and make a little video that we think you might like. You can find more videos like this elsewhere in our blog or on our youtube page. [Read More...]For years, our company have been providing seniors and their families with information on how to find the best medical alert for them. One of my favorite tips since the beginning of the internet has been to type a company name followed by "complaints" to read about negative experiences from previous customers. It's something I do a lot with other companies, but don't regularly do with our own. So today I typed both "Get Help Now Complaints" and "American Senior Safety Agency Complaints" into Google…
After finding no complaints through my Google search, I visited a number of the most prominent medical alert reviews sites. We have so many medical alert customers both old and new who typed such nice things about us on the internet. I knew that our customers liked us based on the number of customer referrals we get each year to our Get Help Now service. I guess I just didn't realize how great they were at using the internet!
[Read More...]It's that season again :) … Just about everyone is scrambling to find the perfect gifts for their family. But before you buy a medical alert for your mom, talk to her about the idea. I know it may give away some surprise, but it is an important step towards making sure that she will use it properly. When someone is left out of a decision that effects them directly, they can often feel disconnected from the idea. The proper use of a medical alert involves your mom wearing the help button daily. If she feels like the medical alert was forced on her it will be incredibly easy for her to simply not wear her help button, or not wear it all the time. So talk to your mom. Have an honest discussion about your concerns and her hesitation (if she has any). I hope your mom grows to wear her help button with a lot of pride!
