Medical Alert Issues

Medical Alert For Elderly give caregivers freedom

Open
Medical Alert Systems for the elderly gives their caregivers the freedom they need to run errands and take a break. Medical alerts also give seniors the confidence they need when they are left alone. There is a delicate balance that must be struck to allow the senior citizen to have the confidence that they can get the help they need by just pushing their help button if they fall or have any type of emergency. The caregiver will also have less anxiety that your mom or dad will be safe while they are away. [Read More...]

Can I wear my Senior Medical Alert in the pool?

Open

My mother sometimes swims in the pool at her retirement community. Would it be okay for her to wear the senior medical alert when she goes in the pool?

Clarice

Hayward, WI

Hi Clarice,

The Senior Medical Alert is waterproof and safe to us in the home shower or bath but not in the pool. The chemicals are not safe for the pendant so we would recommend taking off the necklace or wristband before she swims and then making sure to put it back on afterward.

I hope this helps,

Noah

First alert mom or dad is in trouble and needs help

Open
First alert that mom or dad is in trouble or needs help is often requested by their medical alert service. Countless lives of seniors have been saved by having the ability to summon help first and fast by pressing the help button of their medical alert device. Sometimes our parents fight us about getting a medical alert, but I can tell you that they will thank you once they feel the peace of mind from having help at their beck and call. You will breathe easier and feel more comfortable that mom is not alone. We care! [Read More...]

Medical Alert Systems can help your parents

Open
Medical alert systems seem to be a popular topic of conversation during the holidays. Mom and dad may have started to loose their balance or feel less confident. Often we don't notice these subtle changes until we visit our parents during the holidays. Take this time together to evaluate your parents needs and talk to them about the possibility of a medical alert system for their safety. When a senior medical alert is discussed with mom and dad you may be surprised how open they are to the concept of being able to get help at the push of a button. Imagine how relieved you will feel. Absolutely your husband is qualified for our personal emergency response system. We speak of seniors and the elderly more frequently since that is the bulk of your clients. Have no fear we have hundreds of clients with your husbands situation indeed we have lots of young people with M.S. and other various conditions.

BTW, I love the Henderson airport. When I come to Vegas that's always where I park my plane, "Miss Behavin'"

Customer Reviews

"…Not only have we continued to use your service in our home, but when my father travels to see my sister in Texas, or my brother in Massachusetts, I pack up the unit and send it with him. We make one simple call and everything is back on line. They can't believe how simple it is to transfer.

I just wanted you to know that we are very satisfied with the unit and your service. It has given us back our freedom and peace of mind."
