Medical Alert Issues

Will there be any extra service charges for my Senior Medical Alert?

Open
If there are any services issues with my parents senior medical alert, such as a low battery on the pendant or the speaker box breaking, will I be charged any service fees for replacement and/or repair?

Nate
Little Rock, AK

The monthly charge for your senior medical alert includes complete coverage of any service issues.  If there is a low battery on the pendant or any service issues with your speaker box, we would immediately replace them for you with no charges.

I hope this helps,

Using a lockbox with your medical alert device

Open

You may have noticed that we have a free gift offer when you sign up for our medical alert service. The lockbox is definitely the most popular gift choice, and it's for a great reason! It's a smart idea to have some sort of plan in place just in case you have to use your medical alert and the paramedics come to your house. If your door were locked when they arrive, they may have to break a window or break the door to get you help. To prevent property damage, you can lock a spare key inside of the lockbox and we provide the lockbox combination to the paramedics at the time of dispatch.

While we hope you never need to use your medical alert, you should always be prepared. Plus the lockbox is free with your order! You really can't beat that :)

A lifeline to the paramedics can give your parents peace of mind

Open
A lifeline to call the paramedics when your parents have fallen will give you and them peace of mind. Why should mom or dad worry if their mobility is challenged that they may fall. A medical alert will give them the lifeline they need to let you or the paramedics know that they need some help. Often times, your parents just want the neighbor to come over and help them up. A medical alert system will even work if they have fallen in the garden or while going out to the mail box. [Read More...]

Can we get two medical alert transmitters for my mom who fell in the bathroom?

Open

Hi Jeff,

My mother is living at both my house in Danville CA and my sister's house in Los Altos. Can we get two transmitters for each house that would work with one necklace? How much would that cost to have an extra transmitter. What about if she was away from our homes at a restaurant and she fell in the bathroom. Is there a wireless transmitter?

Thanks,

Hildy

Danville, CA

Hi Hildy,

Yes you can get all of the medical alert transmitter help buttons that you want. Extra transmitters are $35.00 each; however, you get two help buttons for free.

If your mom falls in a restaurant hopefully someone will help her.

Sincerely,

Jeff
