Testing the alarm system

Before testing* Make sure all connections are properly connected. Make sure that the phone cord labeled line is going directly into the phone jack in the wall. Click this link for more information on Plugging in the system.

Press the button around your neck, or on your wrist, to activate the speaker box.

  • First you will hear a long tone for approximately 7 seconds:

  • Followed by 20 to 40 seconds of silence

  • Next, you will hear the speaker box begin to chirp...this indicates that our medical alarm monitoring center is verifying the signal from your speaker box.

  • Then, you will hear our operator ask if you need help. Just tell them that you are testing.
