Buttons (Wrist or Necklace)
No sound when I press the Button
- Press the Green Reset button on the speaker to see if it makes any sound.
( If Reset button makes a beep click here to go to Setting a Pendant / Wristband )
- If no sound when you press the Red or Green button on the speaker box, then check to make sure it is plugged into the power outlet. " Plugging in your medical Alarm"
- Make sure the power outlet is not controlled by a light switch.
- Plug another electrical device in the same power outlet to make sure it works.
I just hear a long tone followed by another long tone no "chirping"
- Check and make sure that our supplied white phone cord is plugged into where it says Line or Plug phone or other device here, and the other end is going directly into a phone jack see "Plugging in your medical alarm".
( The line phone cord must be the only line going straight into the phone jack )
- Be sure you are not using any devices such as Splitters, Extension phone cord cords, Multi phone jacks, and Cable or Internet phones.
- Make sure the phone jack that you are using works and is getting a dial tone.
I hear the long tone and then the short tones "chirping"...but I never hear an operator

Does not activate speaker box
- Press the green reset button to check to see if your speaker box has power.
- Go over "setting your pendant" instructions.
Pendant / Wristband does not work far enough for me
- Try moving your speaker box to another wall in the same room.
- Try to reset your pendant and see if this helps "setting your pendant"
My Necklace or Wrist strap broke
- If your chain breaks you can use your own chain or ribbon. The wrist strap is a standard wristwatch strap that you can pick up at any super market or Wal-mart.

Speaker Box Fixes
The operator can't hear me when I speak

How do I unplug the Speaker to shut it down
- Unplug the speaker box from the power, then hold down the Green reset button till the speaker box shuts off.
I didn't push my Button and the speaker beeped by itself
- Make sure if warning a pendant that it is not located on the chest or stomach area will it is more likely to be pressed without knowing it.
( You may cut the chain to the appropriate length to help prevent false activation )
Speaker keeps beeping and won't stop
If speaker box keeps beeping even after you press the reset button then this is a Run A Way Pendant and must be replaced.
- Wrap your pendant / wristband in foil and put it in the refrigerator see if the beeping stops. You must call us at 1-888-473-2800 and we will send a new pendant out.
( Be sure to remove the bad pendant / wristband from the house out of range from the speaker box before you receive the new one )
Speaker makes no sound
- Make sure the power cord is plugged in the power.
- Make sure the power cord is not plugged into an outlet controlled by a light switch.
Speaker lights are off
- Make sure the power cord is plugged in the power.

Lockbox Fixes
Can't keep the key door closed
- Make sure when you close the key door you change the numbers on the combination so the door will remain locked.
Can't open the key door
- Make sure you have the shackle closed before you open or close the key door.
Key door is stuck in the open position
- Make sure the shackle is closed
- Put the key door code in the combination and your key door will close.
Shackle won't stay closed
- Make sure when you close the shackle you change the numbers on the combination so the shackle will stay locked.
