We are always searching for good resources to share with people who visit our site. I understand that looking for a medical alert can be a tall order sometimes. There are a lot of fall alert companies out there and a lot of information to review. Today I ran across this excellent site: FallAlert.org. They provide a clear and honest picture of the medical alert industry, some simple tips for your search, and they even recommend a few companies. We were a bit surprised and happy to have see our site mentioned :) … So take a moment to read some of this excellent fall alert resource. It'll definitely help you focus your medical alert search. Good luck!
[Read More...]With any senior medical alert company that you are looking into you will need to have a home telephone service to have service. This is because your medical alert plugs into the phone jack on your wall and uses your phone service to connect you to our monitoring center in an emergency. As you know, home telephone services (cable packages, DSL, or a normal landline) are more reliable than cell phone service. Cell phones are known for sometimes not having a signal, getting bad reception, and even dropping calls. Ultimately, you don't want the senior medical alert that you use in an emergency to be hooked into an unreliable service. If you don't have a home phone, you can add a phone service to your cable package or add a simple landline at a reasonable price!

Every year slips on icy driveways and just living in cold conditions can be a strain on the senior population. Even without the regular heavy snow, seniors should consider getting a medical alert for their home. You never know when an emergency or fall will happen, so it's just smart to get on top of it earlier… In the meantime, enjoy the warm weather New York!
[Read More...]I love Delaware! Last summer I visited Wilmington to see an old friend. We had the best time exploring Rockford Park, and ate great rainbow trout at Deep Blue. It was delicious! We have supported so many health agencies and fire departments throughout Delaware with the Vial of Life program and we have 100's of medical alert clients throughout the state. I found I always liked the people from Delaware. And the seafood!
I visited Newark this past summer to see a college friend. I had a great time exploring White Clay State Park and we even drove up to Wilmington for a day. I even got a chance to visit with a few of our beloved medical alarm customers. I remember having a fantastic Chicken Parmesan at Mrs. Robinos. What a fun community!
I flew my into Georgetown on my way to Philadelphia last summer. I had a nice meal at the Harvest Diner before starting my drive. Some of the architecture in your city is really nice. I found I always liked the people in the area and I now understand why our senior personal alert customers love living in Delaware.
I really enjoyed Wilmington when I was there last. I remember how neat it was to see the old homes in Brandywine Hills. I hear the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is the best! I would love to make it to that next time I am out that way. Our medical alarm clients there are lucky to live in such a wonderful community!
