Hi Jeff-

My father-in-law has Vonage Phone as his phone service. Would your senior alarm system work with that?

Thanks,

George in Salem, Oregon

Hi George,

No medical alarm system works consistently with a Voice over IP phone like Vonage. If they tell you there system works consistently they are lying.

I need to know the maximum range between the personal medical alert button and the station. I need to be able to work around the property and my barn and I don’t really want to have to have two stations, if that is even feasible.

Thanks.

Hi Pam,

The maximum range is between 200-400 feet, it completely depends on your location  and must be tested.

My parents live in a rural part of Georgia. Their phone system is still analog (dial phones still in use). do these systems work with analog phone lines?

Hi Jaloo,

Yes they do, infact analog phones are all that they work with consistently,

We live about 4 1/2 mile north east of Gentry, AR — a short distance from Springtown which is just a spot in the road. We are also a few miles from the NW AR Regional Airport at Highfill. Our doctors are in Centerton and Bentonville. We would likely use the Bentonville and Rogers Hospital since that is where two of our sons work and I work. Can this be used in a rural setting like ours?

Due to a very severe hearing problem I cannot understand people on the phone so not call the number given.

Thanks,

Zelda Capehart

Hi Zelda,

Sure we work there, as well as anywhere in the United States.

I am considering changing my phone carrier to Comcast. Will your system work with their VOIP line?

John

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Hi John,

VOIP phones are extremely inconsistent with any medical alarm. I would always use a plain old telephone line for the medical alarm system, it doesn’t need long distance.

I hope this helps,

Jeff
