Reading here will inform you of many "Medical Alarm Issues"

Just to let you know, we were very pleased with the medical alarm service. It did give her the security she needed and I was able to go to work without worries. I would gladly recommend your service to anyone.

We did get to see how fast a response we would get once. Your service called to have my mother test the equipment after they noticed we had several power outages. I thought Mother understood how to use it, but apparently not. The person who phoned told her that she would be called as a test and just when she answered the phone to say “test”. She got it into her head that she could talk to the “button” on her neck chain. So, instead of answering the phone, she talked to the necklace. Probably telling it all sort of things about her day.

When the call was not answered you folks became concerned and began calling the contacts on the list. I was away in Oxford for a doctor’s appointment with no cell phone. My husband was at work and away from both desk and cell phone. My neighbor had gone to Oxford with me. After three strikes, Get Help Now, called the local sheriff. I think he arrived within 5 minutes of the initial start.

We were pleased to see how fast help could arrive and Mother thought the whole thing was wonderfully funny.

Thanks for your help.

This is to acknowledge how great this medical alert device has been for me and and my entire family. Knowing that my mom had immediate help if needed was such a comfort to all of us and enabled us to go about our daily business without a worry.

We strongly recommend this device to everyone who has a loved one at home who spends most of the day alone. I know that anyone can call home every few minutes to check-in on their loved one. Sometimes this is impossible to do so due to the work priorities or other pending business matters. What a relief this device is and has been!

My mom turned 100 years young and we now have a person with her at all times. This is the reason I am now returning this device. Even though she says she does not need anyone and insists on doing her own cooking and driving. Yes, she still cooks and drives her little 1982 Ford Fiesta to church everyday. She just renewed her drivers license last year and the officer stated that she drives better then some of the teenagers that he has tested!

Thank you a thousand times for your services.

To Jeff Miller,

I wanted to write a thank you note for everyone involved in saving my mother’s life. If not for your company and the quick response of the fire and police departments, my mother would have bled to death. She remembered to press the button on her necklace when she fell in the kitchen on Monday morning and hit her head on the table. I was at work, and if she had not pressed the help button, she would have laid there until I got home 9 hours later. I cannot thank you all enough. My mother is 92 years old and going for 100! We are both very appreciative, and she will always wear her necklace next to her heart with pride.

Thank you again,

My mother is now residing in a nursing facility & no longer needs her Get Help Now medical alarm service.

Thank you for the years of great service from your efficient and caring staff. You gave my mom a sense of security to know that help was only a “button punch” away.

Wow…is all I can say when I see how much the public appreciates receiving the “Vial of Life” Kits.

Since the end of March, I have distributed more than 300 Kits to United Way Caregivers, Emergency Medical Squad Captains and various older adult groups. Next month we will more than double this distribution number.

Thanks to your generosity we will be able to reach out to many more people in the upcoming months. I just wanted you to know how grateful the receiver was, and how delighted I am to be able to give them this critical tool.

Thanks for all your help and interest!

Sincerely,

I wanted to update you on the success of our health fair and public education about the benefit of the Vials of Life Project. Thank you for your help in making this a success. I will continue to promote them to seniors.

You can expect some interest from several ladies that work with Meals on Wheels and a senior center in New Port Richey, FL.

Capitol Hill Village, which launched in Oct. 2007, views Vial of Life as part of its “Be Prepared Agenda.”

We want members to be able to access medical info about themselves from anywhere in the world…and if they must go to the local emergency room. We now have 200 members and probably 10% have completed the form.

Thanks for what you do.

CW At Home is a non-profit organization that provides services to seniors in the local communities to allow them to age in the homes they love; prolonging or negating the need to move to an assisted living or long term care facility.

I truly believe in your product and commend you and want to get this information to each of our members.

Please review our website for more info: www.cwathome.org. I’m sorry but we are unable to make a donation at this time (we just launched in Sept. 09; maybe in the future we can).

But I will support your cause in any way we can.

Dear Casey,

Several weeks ago I received a packet from you with many Vial of Life decals and directions for use. This was in response to my request for some system to post for my elderly mother, who lives in a retirement community. Unfortunately the administrators in this large facility knew nothing about the Vial of Life System and of course neither did the residents.

I would like to thank you for sending me this material. Not only have I posted the decals in my mother’s living area, but shared some with the administrators of her facility, along with a fairly strong recommendation that they have an inservice for their employees, to make them acquainted with this system!

The word is now out in my community! Since I have learned of this system and shared my knowledge of it with friends,, I have had numerous requests for the decals and instructions for use. So far I still have some but may run out. If so I hope that I can request more from you. I would be glad to reimburse you for them.

So thank you Casey for your help, and on behalf of the many seniors in Michigan that now know about Vial of Life, keep up the good and essential work!

Sincerely,

Noah,

Thanks for the Vial of Life materials. We presented the Vial of Life project and the medical
alarm system information. There was some interest in the medical alert system, and everyone
was surprised at the low price.

Our web site is houstonstrokewarriors.com, where you
can see we are still offering the Vial of Life project info.

Thanks again,

Hi Noah,

Had a meeting this morning with Lt. De Luca from the OOB Police Department who I report to.  I told him about the medical alarm program and he’s as excited as I am and approved it all. As a matter of fact he mentioned that our Chief, Dana Kelley was looking for information on a medical alert device for his mother so I gave him a brochure.

I put in the mail today the Vial of Life packet that we are handing out to our residents. These Vials are kept at our Public Safety Building (Fire and Police) and some at the Town Hall. They are going like hot cakes!! Even the Recreation Committee, who have programs for the 55+ have started distributing them also. We started the process for the next 1000 and will include the recently received brochure you sent. I’m really looking forward to this exciting program.

I don’t have anything to report yet but I’m sure I will down the road. I have the Fire Chief (EMT’s) willing to report any life saving stories due to the Vial of Life Project.

I will keep you abreast. We appreciate and thank you again for doing such a worthy noble cause.

Good afternoon,

I am writing from the Petersburg Sheriff’s Office. I have talked with Elizabeth from the Southside Virginia Emergency Crew and she shared the information about the PERS Medical Alarm Systems.

We have a senior citizen program called TRIAD which has over 400 Senior Citizens in which most are on a fixed income and with some struggling financially. Your medical alert system seems like it would be an asset to our Seniors in Petersburg.

Thank you, in advance.

Vanessa, Sheriff

…I have forwarded the medical alert information to the people in this agency that are doing some special work with caregivers and seniors. Hopefully, it will get to someone who truly is in need.

On behalf of the Morris County Community, the Vials of Life project decals are being well received. Last week, we distributed over 100 of them to caregivers. We will be meeting soon with all the Emergency Medical Captains and giving them copies of the medical alarm system booklets you have sent to us.

We appreciate your generosity in sharing the Vial of Life, as well as this new information with all of us.

Dear Senior Safety,

I am enclosing the monitor that was used by my Mom and Dad.  Dad passed away last year and Mom used her pendant until she passed away over summer.

I would like to thank you for all your help over the past few years.  They only needed to use it a few times and it worked great.

It was a comfort for all of us to know you would be there if they needed any help.

I have highly recommended your system to many people.

Thank you again for all your help.

Sincerely,

Jan

Dear Get Help Now,

I am returning the personal emergency response system for my father who passed away this year.

The service you provided him was excellent and gave me peace of mind, knowing he was only a “push button” away from help if he needed it.

Thank you so much.

Dear Tiela,

Thank you so much for the decals and the brochures which you mailed to me in early March.  I would like to make a small contribution to Vial of Life so I have enclosed a check for $25.00 which is enclosed.

After the 911 Squad knocked on my door because my neighbor could not turn the key to open her door, fortunately, I was home and had a key to her home.  After entering and assessing her condition, they called the ambulance.  It was then that they looked in her freezer and her refrigerator door and asked her if she had a Vial of Life…  she did not; however, she was still coherent and told me a list of her meds so they would have them available for the Emergency Room physicians and staff.  The Vial of Life Project and form provides me so much more available information which is ready when the emergency crews arrive!  Our neighbor and dear friend of 22 years died after several days in the hospital.  We all miss her so much!

We are spreading the word about the Vial of Life Project in Holiday Village which is a 55 and over community.  It opened in 1986 so it is evident that many of the residents are in their 80’s.  The ambulance is arriving more frequently now!  We are truly grateful to you!  Recently we had the Burlington County Office on Aging come to our Clubhouse for a presentation to the seniors.  I shall continue to pass information about the Vial of Life Project to our residents when any opportunity is available… hopefully, not when the crisis occurs!

Thank you again, Tiela!

Gratefully,

Marie

Dear Noah,

Thank you so much for the decals you sent.  These decals, along with the forms from your website, will be distributed to nearly 400 women at the annual RVW (rving women) convention to be held in San Antonio, Texas in October.

This information is particularly useful for our members since many of us travel alone and, should an emergency happen, there would probably be no one nearby to step in if needed.  We are primarily senior citizens, who own and drive motor homes.  You can learn more about our organization at http://www.rvingwomen.com.

I have enclosed a small donation to your organization in recognition of your generosity.

Sincerely,

Barbara Schneider

Old Orchard Beach Police

Community Watch Council

Dear Noah,

Please find enclosed a sample of the Vial of Life packet we have put together for our residents.   The Police and Fire Department had input and wanted changes for safety improvements.  Samples were then put into the community for testing and critiquing.  Information came back where we had to make the changes so as not to confuse many of our seniors thus eliminating some information on the sheets.  We are pleased with the final results and it’s working for us.

Community Watch Council (CWC) is an organization affiliated with the Police Department.  We oversee Neighborhood Watch throughout the community and try to instill in the young and old, safety in their neighborhoods.  We also have a Community Resource Officer who is in the schools implementing programs of safety for children and a Senior Advocate on board.

Old Orchard Beach is a seasonal seaside community celebrating its 125th anniversary.  We have a year round population of 9,000 which swells to 100,000 in the summer months.  Our 55 and over community is also increasing.  We have a 7 mile long beautiful sandy beach which surpasses any beach in the world.

CWC recently partook in 2 Jr. Achievement shadowing days with 5th graders.  After the children visited the Police and Fire Departments we gave a presentation on internet safety and an explanation of the Vial.  Each child went home with a Vial of Life packet and extra info sheets.  We’ve had only possible feedback from parents.  I’ve enclosed 2 of the many information bulletins we distribute to our residents through our Neighborhood Watch meetings, library, Town Hall, Chamber of Commerce etc.  We inform our residents and make them aware of potential dangers.

Senior Safety Agency has given us another tool (Vial of Life) to reach out even further.  Our Fire, EMT’s and Police are excited to be on board with this life saving packet.  We sincerely thank you for this very worthy program and like we say “if we save one life with this… we have done our job.”

In closing, we appreciate and are grateful for all you are doing to protect individuals and we are looking forward to your vision.

Sincerely,

Helene Whittaker

CWC President

Dear Get Help Now,

I would like to thank you for your product.

My mother used it and it was a blessing she had it.

She fell and was able to get help with your get help service.

She passed away this year and that is why I am returning the equipment.

Again thank you for your service.

Dear Michelle,

On behalf of the Mills River Life Enrichment Center, I would like to thank you for your donation of the Vial of Life decals and the information packets on your Medical Alarm Systems.

Your information was well received with our senior adults.  Over fifty Vial of Life packets of decals were handed out at one of our weekly programs.

The Mills River Life Enrichment Center is a senior adult outreach ministry of the Mills River United Methodist Church.  Weekly programs are held on Thursday mornings for the seniors in this rural community in the church fellowship hall.

Each week a program is presented that may consist of entertainment, exercise, nutritional or educational topics and are always followed by a nutritious lunch.  We average fifty senior adults on a weekly basis in attendance.

Through your generous donation of Vial of Life decals, we were able to equip over fifty senior adults with Vial of Life information that could save their lives.

May God’s blessings be upon you and your endeavors.

Michelle:

Hello!  I wanted to send you a letter to say thank you so much for your willingness to help my patients in need.

Since I spoke with you on the phone months ago, you have assisted so many of my patients in providing them with the Emergency Response Button that not only helps them when they fall but also gives them peace of mind in case of an emergency.

It is so nice to be able to refer someone to a program, even if they cannot afford it, and know that they will be given assistance as soon as possible.

Thanks you for all you do.

Sincerely,
