People are often skeptical about how effective medical alert speakers are for covering their entire home. It is sometimes tough for them to imagine just how the speaker works because most people don’t have similar equipment within their home. Our Home Alert Systems are designed with a much greater range of 10,000 square feet, which is perfect for much larger homes. No matter where you are in your home when you press your help button, you should be able to speak back and forth with an operator within those ranges. If you are not able to speak to an operator, they will have to assume that you are in trouble and they will send help!

It’s important to note though, that these systems behave differently in different homes (because of the layout and how sound travels within your individual home), so it is always a great idea to test the speaker’s range once you set it up in your home.
